Boston Dentist: Dr. Russell Taylor

Originally from Canada, Dr. Taylor resides in Somerville where he enjoys making glass at a local glass studio and spending time with family.

Dr. Taylor received his dental degree from McGill in 2009. The next year he was awarded top resident at the University of the Pacific Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.

During his time in San Francisco, he served as the team dentist for the Oakland Raiders, Golden State Warriors, and Golden Gate Rugby teams and was the dental consultant for the Miss Asia Global.

Dr. Taylor believes that dentistry has three pillars:

• Clinical excellence.
• Teaching. He is clinical instructor.
• Philanthropy. Dr. Taylor participates in local as well as charity clinics overseas each year. He serves as adjunct professor of Clinical Dentistry in Hue, Vietnam.
